Hello from Suncraft

Suncraft started with a simple frustration: too many apps feel like they were built for a metrics dashboard rather than for the person holding the phone. We wanted to make the other kind โ apps that are quick, quiet, and pleasant to return to.
What we are building
Our first app is in development now. We are not ready to say much about it yet, but we can say what we care about while building it:
- Speed you can feel. If a screen takes a beat to appear, it is a bug.
- No dark patterns. No manufactured urgency, no buried unsubscribe buttons.
- Privacy by default. We collect what the app needs to work, and nothing else.
Craft is not a feature you add at the end. It is the set of decisions you make the whole way through.
Writing things down
This blog is where we will think out loud โ design decisions, technical trade-offs, the occasional mistake worth documenting. Posts are plain markdown files in our repository, so publishing is nothing more than a commit.
How a post gets made
- Add a markdown file to
src/content/blog/. - Fill in the frontmatter: title, description, publish date, and an optional hero image.
- Push to GitHub โ the site rebuilds and deploys on its own.
That is the entire workflow. No CMS, no admin panel, no database.
Say hello
If any of this resonates, we would genuinely like to hear from you. Our inbox is linked in the footer, and we read everything.
